Emily died if memory serves me correctly.

Guessing the dolls are possessed, and the dolls are the ones who killed her.
Also guessing that the dolls killed the dog as well, otherwise why would she walk on all fours like a dog if she killed her dog since she didn't like it?
I always thought the dolls turned her evil since it is said she was normal up until they moved into that house then she turned into a monster.
